Kilimanjaro, Safari and Zanzibar in 16 Days

⏱16 Days 📍Mount Kilimanjaro, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park 👤1-7 people 💰From $5,900 USD*

Overview

This 16-day itinerary rolls three of Tanzania's biggest draws into one trip. You climb to Kilimanjaro's summit on the Machame route, join a Northern Circuit safari through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and finish with beach time on Zanzibar.

The climb comes first: seven days on the Machame route, which many people consider the mountain's most scenic way up. A rest day back in Moshi follows, before the safari begins. Next come five days of game drives hitting the Northern Circuit's highlights, then a short flight to Zanzibar for three last days of proper relaxation.

One booking delivers a complete Tanzania trip: a real physical achievement, classic Big Five wildlife viewing, and a beach ending to recover from both. To see why this order works well, read our guide to pairing Kilimanjaro with a safari.
