Overview
Thirty days makes this our most comprehensive East Africa trip, designed for travelers who want depth and not a rushed highlights tour. It covers Tanzania's Northern Circuit, Kenya's Maasai Mara, and additional parks and experiences around the region, all in one extended journey.
A full month leaves real room for flexibility. You can spend multiple nights in each location, have rest days between the longer transfers, and add Zanzibar, Rwanda's gorilla trekking, or other regional highlights depending on your interests.
Because a trip this long is complex, we work closely with you to shape the exact route and pacing around what you want to see, and we do not offer a single fixed version of this itinerary.

ANOTHER FULL DAY GAME DRIVES IN THE SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
The day brings a second round of game drives through the vast SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK, which has one of the richest and most varied wildlife populations on earth. Between May and December each year, millions of animals make an incredible journey from central Serengeti to Kenya's Masai Mara and then back again. Outside that 'down-time,' wildebeest, zebra and gazelle still roam in vast herds, with elephant, giraffe, and buffalo groups among them, and lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas, and jackals hunting for food. Back to the tented camp in the evening.

Year-round water and fodder sustain a huge variety of animals, among them herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another major draw of this picturesque national park is its large predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard.
