Getting to Tanzania from The UAE: Flights, Visas and Trip Planning
How to plan a Tanzania safari from the UAE: flights, visa rules and logistics
Few places outside East Africa itself have flight access to Tanzania as convenient as the UAE. Dubai and Abu Dhabi both have direct or near-direct flights to Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam, and the flight time is considerably shorter than from most other international departure points.
Travelers based in the UAE typically qualify for an e-Visa that is processed quickly, in line with the generally easy logistics of traveling from the Gulf. The short, convenient flight makes Tanzania a realistic choice even for a brief 5 to 6 night safari. That length wouldn't make much sense from further afield, but it works well here because the journey itself takes so little time.
If you live in the UAE and assumed a safari needs a big block of vacation time, flights from Dubai or Abu Dhabi make it a trip you can manage to fit around a normal schedule.
