In the Serengeti, park fees are charged per person for every 24-hour period inside the park. When we give you a properly transparent quote, those fees are already part of your overall safari price, so they won't appear later as a surprise.
Private conservancies bordering the main park charge concession fees, which are a separate matter from national park entry fees. If your itinerary includes a private concession stay, remember that those fees are added on top of the standard park fees, not swapped in for them.
Keep in mind, too, that the Tanzania National Parks Authority sets fees and revises them periodically, sometimes with little notice. We keep our quotes in line with the latest published rates. Even so, book with confirmed, current pricing rather than relying on an old quote you've been keeping.
