A Realistic 10-Day Safari Itinerary for Tanzania
A Realistic 10-Day Safari Itinerary for Tanzania
What you can fit into 10 days on safari in Tanzania
With ten days you get real breathing room, and this is often where a safari stops being just a wildlife trip and becomes a fuller Tanzania holiday. The Northern Circuit can be paired with a meaningful Zanzibar stay of 3 to 4 nights rather than a couple of days tacked onto the end.
You can also make repeat game drives at the same migration location instead of one drive before moving on. It's a realistic length for family safaris with children, because it naturally builds in rest days between the longer driving days rather than filling every day with activity.
Ten days is a strong length to build around when you want wildlife, some downtime and a beach stay, with no single part feeling squeezed.
